I am a resource teacher for grades k-6. The resource room is a classroom where students go to get additional help with math, reading, writing, and social skills. Many of the students are one or more grade levels behind their peers. This can sometimes be a taxing job not because they are below grade level but because they have given up on themselves. Everyone is capable of learning. For some it takes a little longer to catch onto a concept being taught. My motto is to never give up. I try to give my students the best learning environment possible along with the learning tools that match their learning style. I try to teach to everyone's learning style. This requires me to add to and change classroom materials routinely. Donors choose is a great site to help get the items my students need. I thank you for any help you can give.
