My students come from an environment that makes it hard for them to put stock in their education. Our school is a tittle one school that is filled with talented young minds. They are caring individuals who are just trying to figure out where they fit. Their families struggle with providing them with basic school supplies. However, the school and community has come together to help reduce some of their concerns. We provide them with paper, pencils, binders, clothes and some of them receive food through our backpack program. Unfortunately, there is still a lot of supplies that we are unable to provide them to ensure they gain the skills needed for successful futures.
