My school is nestled in a high poverty community where many students do not get a chance to interact with highly advanced technology. Students are accustomed to creating and experiencing 2D art; however, I would like to provide my students with hands-on experiences and learning via a 3D printer. It is my sincere wish that all of my students are given the opportunity to plan, design, create, and critique products while using a 3D printer that will empower them to become college or career-ready individuals. The printer would also be utilized during my bi-monthly comic book club. The comic book club is dedicated to increasing reading confidence and endurance by reading, developing, and creating comic book stories.
