My students are funny, caring, energetic, clever, and so curious about the world! They are fantastic story tellers with rich imaginations, who throw themselves into their work and do their best. I am constantly impressed with the wonderful character and kindness I see daily, and this is from 7 and 8 year old students! All of my students are Native Alaskan, and in my few months with them, I have developed a deep respect for their culture and willingness to help teach me. Any way that you can help me give back to them would be greatly appreciated.
