The students at my school are amazing. They work really hard on their academics and are very grateful for the things they have. My school encourages students to take charge of their own learning and to never give up. Every morning after the pledge the school chant: Believe it, expect it, learn it, demand it, earn it, and never give up is belted out by all students. The teachers and staff that I work with are among some of the most dedicated people I have ever met. They truly love their students, and push them to meet high expectations. We have a very diverse student population and many of our students and families come from lower income backgrounds. Because we are a charter school students must enter a raffle to attend school here. The best thing about being a charter is the dedication to education that each student and family has. They understand how important a quality education is and they work very hard to achieve their academic goals.
