My students are eager to learn and to be challenged in their physical education classroom. They show excitement when we are challenging one another in competition. However, we currently do not have enough equipment for every student to participate per class. This leave some students watching and waiting for their turn. I only have each class once a week and their time is precious. The school is very diverse in socioeconomic and many are considered at poverty level. This results in over half of the student population qualifying for free and reduced lunch. The majority of the student population has a military connection because we are located near a military base. The school does receive Title I funding, however; budgets are still tight and the school could use more physical education equipment.
