My classroom is full children who have no idea the hurtles they will have to jump to become successful, just because where they come from. I teach first grade in a small rural town in South Carolina. I want to create a classroom that will allow all my students to reach the stars! I feel that the more hands on activities my students are involved in, the better they will learn and retain what I have taught them. I want to have hands on Math and Literacy Centers in my classroom that will help my students to use the knowledge they are learning in class in fun interactive way.
