My class consist of a morning and afternoon class with a total of forty students. They are four year old children that are at poverty level. My goal is to prepare them for success in kindergarten. The program was designed to provide readiness skills for children who do not have the means to acquire them. Many have limited oral language skills. Our school is a school of the arts. We implement standards through creative means using drama, singing, visual art, music, and dancing. We provide a creative and positive environment that our students learn to love learning. All of the students at our school perform on stage. My class performs by singing a variety of songs and dressing in costumes to showcase skills they learned throughout the year. They love singing, dancing, dressing up and "Acting Out"!
