My second graders are eager to learn and enjoy listening to stories. We read a minimum of 2-3 books a day. Their favorite time of the day is when we are reading together on the rug or when they are reading on their own. Like many children they love to use technology and if I can find a way to incorporate technology with my teaching I will. Our school is located in a high poverty area where there is not enough money to buy clothes or school supplies for students, let alone books and technology.
