A wireless microphone will change the way my students communicate in class. It will add another dimension to how they are able to showcase their achievements whether it be reading stories or sharing their own. Second graders are often hesitant to make presentations in front of their peers, but the use of a microphone will definitely make it more exciting.. A Microphone will give everyone a voice. Some of my students are very shy and will benefit from extra motivation to speak in class, while others speak in such low voices that it is difficult to hear what they have to say. Students will become empowered when they know that what they have to say is being heard.
