I am requesting a comfy couch, four bean bag chairs, and six comfy floor chairs for my classroom library and throughout the classroom so students can have a quiet space to read and work independently or with groups. Students need to be able to move around when they are learning so this alternate seating option will give them the space when working on projects or daily work. In today’s rigorous program students need a break to reflect and work in a relaxing space to focus and do their best. Some of my students struggle with focus and motivation. I believe this flexible seating will give them private space to focus and apply themselves free of distraction. It’ll also motivate to do well if they feel comfortable and relaxed in the classroom environment. Thanks for all your support.
