We are fortunate to have a very diverse population. We have families who work at the leading tech companies in the Silicon Valley living and learning along side some of the poorest families in the South Bay. This provides a wonderful opportunity for us to teach team building and community, while all learning to be part of our great society. This also provides some real challenges, when trying to provide free and equal access to all students. In today's economy, most students are not able to rent or buy their own instruments. Though our school resides in the Almaden Valley, an area known for its affluence, we are actually a Title I school, with more than 40% of our student body qualifying for free/reduced price lunch. It falls to us to provide the needed materials to give each student the highest quality music education possible. Our students are bright, eager and amazing. Please help us continue to provide them the education they deserve!
