I have 28 little, eager, and curious learners in my classroom. My students get very excited when they get to read books that they know most of the words in, they feel very proud, and so do I. Also my students love to have literacy centers. There is not much play time anymore for kindergarten students, but my students enjoy the literacy games, it gives them a chance to explore letters, words and sentence building, and at the same time gives them time to interact with each other and help each other. I strongly encourage them to help one another when they are stuck on a letter, word, or reading etc.. These centers can be differentiated for all learners in my class, including those students with Autism, learning disabilities and children who come into kindergarten at a young age.
