My students are magnet students at a Fine Arts high school in the metro Atlanta area. The students attend this school to focus on their art. While working on their art, my goals is to also help them focus on health and wellness. Most of my students receive limited access to health, wellness and recreational opportunities because we do not offer extracurricular sports. I would like help my students by supplying them with fitness related activities to help them achieve and maintain good health. We are a Title I, low-income school which serves over 600 talented students. We are in needs of fitness related items to complete our fitness center. We are in needs of yoga mats, stability balls, kettle bells, exercise bands, etc. With these items, we would like to give our students choices on how to improve their physical, mental, emotional and social health during all four years of high school.
