My school is a combination elementary/middle school located in an urban Indianapolis setting with a diverse student population, including over 70% minority students and over 50% free meals. We are one of three "Center for Inquiry" magnet schools that are part of the Indianapolis Public School (IPS) system. The curriculum is unique among IPS schools because it is inquiry-based, student interest-driven and emphasizes peace studies and tolerance. We are on track to be an International Baccalaureate-certified school later this year.
