Students will use the tepee as a small corner shelter for them to retreat to when they have a big feeling. It will be a place in which they will have the chance to reset before coming back to learn when they are ready. In order for the students to feel warmth and coziness, they will sit on the floor pillows and use all the sensory toys to soothe themselves while they are in the peace corner. This peace corner is a major tool for my students' socio-emotional learning and will serve as a self-regulating tool.
