According to our state, our school is a low performing school and is in the stage of being an improvement school. The state is coming into our school to investigate how we are teaching our students. These materials are needed more than ever to help my students be successful on the state assessment. I have a wonderful class. In fact, when the superintendent of our district visited our campus, he visited our class because we were chosen by the principal. My students are very hard-working and love to learn. We are located in a low income area, and my students come to school with many different experiences. School is their safe haven. It is a place where they can just be a kid. They enjoy school very much!
