My students range from kindergarten through 5th grade. Most of them are first-generation Americans or immigrant children and come from a mostly Hispanic area in Greater Miami. Our school is a Title I school, which means that the majority of my students come from low-income households and are eligible for free or reduced lunch. They are sweet and very sociable children who love to learn.
