My students come alive when presented with opportunities for hands on, project based, rigorous challenges. They love to explore the world of STEM. These kits will allow students to explore coding and electrical engineering through team challenges that build on core STEM content. The littleBits Arduino Coding Kit lets students explore summers, switches, sensors, and so much mor as they code real world applications. This kit will not only compliment the current STEM curriculum in my engineering classroom, but will springboard students into deeper exploration of STEM content based on their new learning. It is my hope that these kits will provide students with not just electrical engineering content knowledge, but with a passion to continue their pursuit of STEM knowledge on their future career development.
