My class is composed of a small group of ESL and at-risk students who were invited to return to campus to receive additional support during distance learning. Distance learning has proven to have many challenges especially for the at-risk and English language learning populations. The basic supplies listed will help me provide small group intervention and language support activities. I plan to purchase language-rich activities from TpT to use in my small groups. The white boards and clip boards will be used during small group and mini lesson activities. Since we are continuing to practice social distancing, the clipboards will be used by students who choose to work in comfort of the fresh air outside our classroom. The books will also continue to enhance their learning experience by providing a print-rich environment. The books that I have chosen will be the starting point in creating an inclusive library in which many of the languages and cultures of my students will be represented. By donating to our project, you will help us build a good foundation from which my students can begin in person intervention and language development.
