The daily use of the HD Tablet in the classroom will allow my students to record their classwork activities in an online journal. They will be able to choose what they want to record(giving them ownership) and show in their journals, their growth, skills, reflections and successes. Starting from the beginning of the year, students will be able to record, with a photo, video or drawing, their growth of anything and everything they do. For example, reading a list of high frequency words with fluency. A photo of their writing on the first day changes mid year, when they are able to video record themselves reading their own story. Or taking a picture of an addition problem they solved in various ways using manipulatives. Showing a science observation and recording a reflection of the learned outcome are only a few of the learning my students will be engaging in with the use of the HD Tablet.
