This is a series of books connected to wonderful ELA lessons. The lessons focus on multiple readings of the books which are chosen for their comprehension, word choice, fabulous stories and connection to the standards for first grade. These books are mesmerizing to my students. Each time I read the story they are transported into another place. We go deeply into the words, the meaning and the inferences of the stories. They love the stories and the books help me to teach my students a love of fabulous books and a love of reading.
