With your generous support, we've been able to provide sensory regulation tools to help our students manage their emotions, focus better, and create a calm and supportive learning environment.\r\n\r\nThanks to the items like compression vests, liquid bubblers, Chewerly, calming stickers, scented stickers, and body socks, students now have more resources they need to self-regulate in a way that works for them. These tools have been a game-changer on our campus offering students a chance to stay calm, centered, and ready to learn!\r\n\r\nFor some students, wearing the compression vests has made a world of difference. The deep pressure provides a calming effect, helping students focus and reduce anxiety. The liquid bubblers are a favorite, offering a soothing visual experience that helps students refocus during moments of overstimulation. The Chewerly has been a fantastic resource for students who need oral sensory input, and both the calming and scented stickers provide moments of relaxation and sensory feedback that help students feel more at ease.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest hits has been the body socks. These have become a go-to tool for sensory breaks, where students can stretch, move, and reset before returning to their tasks. These moments of movement and self-regulation allow them to approach their work with a calmer mindset and a refreshed energy.\r\n\r\nAs a result of these tools, we've noticed a positive shift in students' behavior and engagement. They're able to regulate their emotions better, focus for longer periods, and approach learning in a more confident way. Not only are these sensory tools helping our students with individual needs, but they're also creating an overall peaceful classroom environment where everyone can thrive.\r\n\r\nWe truly appreciate the support of our donors, whose kindness has had a lasting impact on our students. These sensory items are not just tools—they're empowering students to take charge of their own well-being, so they can succeed and grow all over our campus!","fullyFundedDate":1733941188238,"projectUrl":"project/support-sensory-regulation/8717982/","projectTitle":"Support Sensory Regulation!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mork","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9027402_orig.jpg?crop=4284,4284,x0,y299&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755908689205","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9027402"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_62698","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":578,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":39,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":39,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":50,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":74.4,"schoolId":62698,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Estes Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Estes Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/marana-unified-school-district-6/estes-elementary-school/62698"}
