My students come from diverse economic backgrounds and have difficulty obtaining the resources and materials they need for a new school year of learning. I hope to assist the students in getting the resources they need so they may learn and focus on scientific and engineering practices rather than how they are going to get paper or pencils. I want to show them that they can make a difference despite their circumstances and it begins with learning and making connections to our daily lives. Allowing students the opportunity to build and develop interests will motivate them to become college and career ready!
