The headphones will help students to work quietly on independently leveled online activities so that the teacher can work in small groups. Many of the items are meant to help students close the gaps in phonics that were exaggerated due to Covid and learning from home. These items will help students with standard L2.2d Generalize learned spelling patterns when writing words (e.g., cage → badge; boy → boil). Many of my students are struggling with basic math facts, which can be helped by the math flash cards. In turn, this will help students with the more difficult math concepts and standards that we will cover throughout the year.
