Having technology in my classroom will benefit my students in many ways. The five iPad minis 2 will be used by my first graders to practice online research for their International Baccalaureate end of units projects. The iPads will provide quick access to any information they need for their inquiry on Animal Homes and Matter. They will use the Wireless Laser Printer to print images and articles to enhance their projects and presentations. The toner replacement cartridge will prolong the usage of the printer since the school does not provide ink for in classroom printers. The devices and headphones will aid student learning during small group instruction. The headphones will eliminate noise, allowing the students to practice reading or math at their own pace in an engaging way using Lexia Core 5 and DreamBox. The Fitness Fun CD will support wellness activities that encourage movement during Physical Education and promote a healthy lifestyle. Your generous contribution will help students achieve at their highest learning potential. Students will have the opportunity to become proficient with their ability to use technology.
