"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I LEARN." -Benjamin Franklin. Our classroom is made up of 28 Kindergartners that are full of energy and are excited to learn! We have 28 personalities, 28 wonderful little minds, and 28 little learners striving to read, write, and learn their numbers. Half of the students are English language learners and are not yet proficient English speakers. Our entire school qualifies for free breakfast and lunch. To keep our students learning, they require learning activities that are hands-on and highly engaging. Most of the students do not attend preschool and do not have the resources at home to effectively gain and master early literacy language skills. They require activities that not only teach, but INVOLVE them in learning!
