My students are energetic, caring, and enthusiastic 4 and 5 year olds. I am a first year teacher who teaches two, half-day, prekindergarten classes consisting of 18 students in the morning and 19 in the afternoon. My students love learning and are excited to come to school each day. Every day they arrive ready to find something new to explore and ready to ask questions about the world around them. I work diligently to provide these students with engaging activities that will develop a solid foundation of learning for them to carry throughout their school careers. At this age, my students primarily learn through exploring hands-on activities and materials. Our school is a Title 1 school with many of the students receiving free or reduced lunches. Our teachers and staff are very dedicated to meeting the growing and diverse needs of our students.
