My students are 3rd graders who are second language learners. Their dominant language is Spanish. They are learners that strive hard to accomplish the goals they have set for the school year. They are passionate about reading and writing. They value the education system and every day come to school excited about learning. My school is a Project Based Learning campus. Our core beliefs focus on the belief that every teacher can inspire life-long learners through hands-on, critical thinking, and real world experiences. Our school believes in building a firm foundation of the basics so students can become producers of learning. We believe that giving students opportunities to explore their interest and passion keeps engagement high.
