The American Heart Association states that obesity is a major health risk factor linked to increased cardiovascular disease, certain types of cancer, type II diabetes, and early death. I am a Physical Education teacher and Coach at a Pennsylvania urban K-8 public school. This school is located in a lower economic neighborhood with 95% low income and 100% receive free lunch.
