I currently support a group of students grade K-5th. They are poverty stricken children hailing mostly from single parent homes. The school has a 99 percent free lunch count and is a Title I school. Due to budget cuts and lack of funds, my students are deprived of basics educational needs since pandemic. They are neglected and overlooked as students and not place at the center of the instruction. Giving them basic things like a daily snacks help boost their energy level and keep them engage in the learning environment.
