My students often struggle with concentration, staying on task, and remaining focused in the classroom. For some students, sitting without fidgeting is tough due to their disabilities. My kiddos need different seating options to help them remain attentive while doing schoolwork. Middle school students often need to keep active in their day and we are always looking for ways to meet students' individual learning styles. As a special education teacher my students have many needs. My resource classroom consists of hard working students who come from multiple challenging economic backgrounds. Every student in my classroom has an Individual Educational Plan, otherwise known as an IEP. Their diagnoses range from specific learning issues to emotional disabilities. I provide support to my students who need services beyond the general educational classroom. Being able to have alternate seating such as the LuxFit Exercise Ball Chairs will allow my students the needed movement without leaving their seat and without disrupting others. The exercise ball incorporated within the chair will give calming movement and will assist with needed focus!
