My students would like to learn how to measure their physical activity throughout the day and during special fitness activities. They are interested in integrating their math standards of data collection and graphing into physical fitness. I plan to allow students to take turns wearing the fitness bands to track their activity and then use the tablets to interact with the Garmin fitness app. The Garmin fitness app will also give my students activity goals that will inspire them to move more! It is my goal to create a love of technology and physical fitness in all of my students!
