My students will have the necessary supplies to compete in different competitions. With these supplies the students will be able to enter their essays in contests; their art at the Houston Stock Show and Rodeo. The students will be given an opportunity to win scholarships that would allow them an equal chance for advancement. Most of these students can not afford some of the simplest of school supplies that could give them a step up on life. Last year I gave out approximately 400 pencils, and at least 10 packs of paper. This doesn't include the boxes of tissues, crayons, colored pencils, composition books, spiral books, or binders.
