I teach 30 diverse, creative and eager 2nd graders who love learning! In second grade students are at a variety of reading levels with a range of interests, this range allows my students to learn from each other, but poses a challenge when developing curriculum to meet the needs of each student. Using iPads will enhance the reading instruction in my classroom, giving each student a chance to read more high interest stories at their level. By adding weekly copies of Scholastic News, my class will have the opportunity to read and discuss current events.
