As a low-income school, I am faced with the challenges that my students do not have the modern conveniences of technology in the home. Unfortunately, neither my school nor my district can support my technological needs due to the lack of funds. I feel horrible that my students will miss out on valuable resources and educational opportunities because of financial constraints. It is my hope to one day have a device for each of my students to use on a daily basis. With the use of these requested Dell Chromebooks and Google Chrome Management Console Licenses, I will be able to assign independent and group work to my students, which will assist me in providing the appropriate instruction for each of my students. I feel that my students deserve the right to have the same advantages as other students. With the use of Chromebooks my students will be able to experience new and creative methods of learning in a fun and engaging way. With the use of technology my students will be able to become more independent learners. I feel that it is my duty to provide the best possible education to my class and would welcome the use of laptops in the classroom to assist me in accomplishing this task.
