My students come from many diverse backgrounds. We have a huge amount of ESL students who would really benefit from seeing sports on a screen in front of them , not just having me teach them what to do. By having a projector I can explain things more easily to those students that don't speak or understand a lot of english. Our school is wonderful-a true learning environment with a fantastic principal. Our students love gym but, we have a small facility as our school is quite old. In warmer weather we have a nice yard that doubles up as my gym. The children in the inner city don't get the same opportunities as those in the suburbs. In my neighborhood kids play soccer on the large fields outside of my home. In the city the 12 year Olds don't even have that. I know I can bring up the skill level of my students through the use of technology. I so want the kids to make fitness and exercise part of their lifestyle. Through your generosity this can happen.
