We are are a growing charter school that has gone from 15 students to over 350 in less than 15 years. Some of our growing pains are that we do not always have enough materials for our expanding classes. Our students come to us by school choice, having many abilities and needs. We have an active parent involvement element because we require all families to have 40 hours of volunteer work each year. This leads to a close family connection. Part of our curriculum focuses on core virtues. We have weekly assemblies where we come together as a whole school to learn about and demonstrate our monthly core virtues. Some of our virtues are cooperation, tolerance, honor, patriotism, humility, service, perseverance, caring and compassion, heroism, and fairness. Our students are hard working, and dedicated to academic excellence. Our teachers are hard working and dedicated to being the best, most consistent, compassionate teachers ever.
