The world my students will encounter outside of my classroom is technology driven and technology interactive. The lack of technology within my school is very limited and the demands for students to use technology is great. Incorporating an iPad into my classroom will enable my students to see how scientific knowledge is gained. This will stimulate the students to receive a hands on understanding of the concepts that they could not otherwise not experience due to lack of supplies and funds. This technology will give my students science at their finger tips. It will give them the opportunity to experience the real world science methods in today"s classroom. For example the enormous scale of the universe, like the size of our solar system, the traditional methods leave me struggling to give my students a life like visual and a hands on manipulative. By bringing together science and technology with an iPad, my students can see the relevance of what they are learning and enable them to apply their learning to the real world. This iPad will offer my students the opportunity to explore objectives that are impossible to complete with traditional methods.
