This year I have four, fifth grade classes with a total of 80 students. My students and I are currently in a co-teaching environment we are sharing a classroom with another fifth grade science teacher which has 80 students as well for a grand total of 160 students that we see throughout the day together. They are all preparing to take the Science Fifth Grade FCAT in the spring and are eager to complete hand on activities and labs that will allow them to experience different areas within the scientific field. My students are mostly English Language Learners in which Spanish is their first language.
