My AP-Computer Science class consists of 42 highly intelligent diverse students; most of them are 12th graders. The class is made-up of 15 girls and 27 boys. There are 22 Asian, 2 African American, 11 White and 6 Hispanic students. I teach at an affiliated charter urban public high school which is made up of 70% Hispanics and 65% of the population is on free or reduced lunch. There are two students who have been identified as special needs and are grasping the course material and are performing at class level.
