Do you remember when you were a student? You had a standard desk with all the required school supplies but, where did you really want to sit? Where did you do you best work? The materials requested for this project will give my students a variety of flexible seating choices. Some of my students prefer to sit on the floor, using the seats of their chairs as tables. Others opt to sit in foldable camping chairs with clipboards used for note taking. My little ones, some who have the wiggles, will be able to grab a portable desk or cushion and find the perfect place to work. Students who simply have to move their legs as they write, will be able bounce their feet on the chair bands. In short, flexible seating will allow my students to be comfortable, as they learn and their creative juices flow.
