Many of my students are individuals who come from either a single parent household or they are being raised by grandparents. A very small percentage of my students live with both parents. In this case, most of them are only getting the minimum care they need daily. When I look at them, I see little people who are like sponges waiting to be filled with all sorts of information. It amazes me that they are always listening and watching even when we think they are not. That is why it is important to me that they receive every opportunity to be exposed to technology daily. Sometimes opportunities are limited because of the area, in which they attend school. Often times they are the last to get new technology.
