Every student brings something special to the class. Whether it's personality, work ethic, knowledge, or background, everyone is crucial to our awesome classroom. My students range between the ages of six to eight years old. At our elementary school, everyone is family. We all appreciate and respect one another. Our school has a very nice welcoming environment. Our principal, our staff, and the students are all involved in the well-being of our community. We might lack the resources, but we are a strong group that takes on challenges confidently. In addition, we are a magnet school. Every grade level up to fifth, has a FLES classroom. FLES (Foreign Language in the Elementary School) is taught for about 40-45 minutes every day. Students learn the basics skills needed to communicate in the Spanish language. They also learn about Latin America. I am the second grade FLES teacher, and I will be looping with my students onto third grade next year.
