Having flexible seating in the classroom will allow the students who have extra energy to focus more on their learning. In addition, having these options will allow students to choose learning spots around the room that best support their focus and learning needs. Student choice is so powerful within a classroom, and I want to provide students with the opportunity to work collaboratively around the room in all subjects throughout the day: reading, math, writing, science/social studies, and leadership, instead of being stationary in a desk. I truly appreciate any support to help provide this opportunity for my students to learn and grow into the future leaders of our world.

About my class
