I teach a bilingual, math class in 3rd Grade. My students struggle with the vocabulary particularly in math and science in English. We have a high population of students who are at-risk as well. We are a magnet school and many students choose to attend at our campus. Often, we work with the same families again and again as their siblings attend. Our students love to learn in different ways. They like moving around with hands-on activities, they like listening to literature read aloud, and they love using digital resources to supplement their lessons.
