We are a proud bilingual school located in the State of Oregon - and we need the help of the community to reach our high goals. It is our goal at our school that all students who enter our bilingual program not only become contributing partners in society, but an active part of our global community. In order to reach that goal, we work hard everyday to read, write, speak, and listen in English and Spanish. Our students are energetic, motivated, and excited to learn when they arrive in classrooms. Any activity where we can incorporate moving, singing, or collaboration is of great value to them, and as teachers, we love seeing the growth they make thorough unconventional methods of instruction. Due to an economic situation that is prominent in our community, most of our students qualify for free or reduced meals. This creates an environment where technology is not common in households, and accessibility to engaging books is limited.
