My students live in a rural area of Arizona that was especially hard hit by the housing market crash, with more than one fourth of our town's homes in foreclosure. McCartney Ranch is the largest elementary school in our district with over 700 students. 68% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. We also have a large population of English Language Learners. My third-grade students love to learn and love technology.
