A Deluxe Butterfly Habitat kit in the classroom would allow the students to actually observe and note each stage of the butterfly life cycle. The students would also be active participants in taking care of the habitat. The kit also includes a one year subscription to an interactive butterfly program that the students can use in class. The computer program includes video images as well . I think this kit has all components needed to enhance our literacy unit. This kit will also provide my students with a hands-on learning experience that will unable them to make real world connections.
