My students love reading and sharing what they've read. They enjoy listening to read alouds and using their comprehension skills to talk about the story, predict, and connect to the text. The school my students are at is a neighborhood school. Most students have been going to our school since kindergarten and they have formed bonds and friendships with each other. I have a diverse group of students with a few who speak or are continuing to learn one or more language.
